Creating order for Sunday services

We believe in “creating structure so that good things can run wild.”

For the Arts team, I’ve created some setup and teardown processes that each team member can follow, and can be shared for accountability. My hope is to set a quick habit as to getting things set up on Sunday mornings, and for midweek rehearsal, to eliminate waiting or killing time, but become more efficient with how we run.

As for personal know-how, there are some ProPresenter tutorials where people can find out some answers to any questions that arise.

For audio, I would love to have everyone — musicians and tech people — download the Mixing Station app, so that each musician can control their volume and make the adjustment they need to hear, and eliminate the guessing from the tech volunteer (accommodate yourself easily), and have the Audio tech to have the full mix, to adjust what is needed for the audience. Mixing Station has the ability to customize what features are needed per-person, so this would be a good solution for each individual to show only what pertains to them and what they need, in the layout that makes sense to them. I would help each person get it where they would need it.

I would like to create clarity on who should turn things on, and when they would need to turn it on. Currently, I do a lot of the startup process, and people are left waiting on me, without communication or knowledge of what I am actually doing… this is leaving a residue of stress on me, and is leaving a disappointment of wasted time on others. Delegation and clarity can help to eliminate this.
